I have been so busy since returning from Blog World Expo in New York. I had a lot of catching up to do.
Blog World Expo is one of the highlights of my 2012 so far. I learned a lot, met tons of great people, and connected with an old friend.
In this episode I recap my Blog World experience with my special guest Leslie Samuel from BecomeABlogger.com.
The Shout Out
This weeks shout out goes to Sharyn Sheldon from http://businesscontentplr.com. I have know of Sharyn and have bought PLR from her in the past, but I was able to meet her at Blog Word Expo and it was way cool, to meet in person. It was exciting when we bumped into each other, and was able to get to know each other, and exchange some ideas.
Here are my Blog World New York picture, I didn’t take as many as I thought:
I met so many great people I cannot list them all, but here are the people I spent a lot of time with, sorry if I forgot anyone.

LOL you guys really sound like you had a stack load of fun. Who knows maybe I’ll be able to get to the next on in Las Vegas.
I love live events and conferences. There is always so much energy and I tend to come away feeling both drained and enthused at the same time. I haven’t been to any outside of the UK yet, so I’ll add that to my goal list.
Leslie – What you said about starting a blog is really encouraging. It’s been on my to-do for like… oooh I don’t know, a while. I needed a kick up the butt, so thanks.

Hi Mena, yep live events are AWESOME. I’m now converted
You should definitely get started with a blog. Not starting it is a sure way for it not to succeed. Start one and then let us know! We’ll keep ya accountable.

Chris and Leslie, you guys totally crack me up! This podcast brought be right back to being at BlogWorld with you guys, and I really appreciate that. You are totally right, it’s all about the connections that you make, not just at conferences, but in business and in life.
After listening to this podcast, I went back and listened to all of your previous episodes, Chris. Especially after meeting you, I can really appreciate how open and honest your are in these podcasts about the challenges that you are facing, and how you are dealing with them. I subscribed because it’s meaningful to me to be able to keep up with what you are up to, and travel with you on your journey.
Please keep in touch. I want to support you in knocking out that day job!
